MARIA WONG

A famous singer from China, Maria always tried her hardest to get along with her stepmother, but all her stepmother saw her as was a source of money. Finally, unable to live with her despair any longer, Maria took her own life. Unwilling to lose her source of revenue, Maria's stepmother had Muraki bring her back to life, and Maria was forced to live as a vampire under Muraki's hypnosis, draining the blood of innocent victims to sustain her body.

Maria's voice was provided by Imai Yuka. Some of her other roles include Fujimi Chihiro in the Oh My Goddess Movie, Shinohara Wakaba in Shoujo Kakumei Utena, and Angel Salvia in Wedding Peach.

MARIA'S STEPMOTHER

A very selfish woman who cares only about money and herself. She uses Maria's talent for personal gain, and only when her own life is threatened does she display any emotion besides anger, breaking down into a sobbing wreck.

Her seiyuu was Katsuki Masako, who you might recognize from her role as Sailorneptune in Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon.
