SHIKIGAMI

Tsuzuki has numerous Shikigami who serve him. They are powerful gods which can take human form but they are only seen as beasts in the anime version. As well, in the anime only three of them are shown.

SUZAKU

The Shikigami, which is shown the most in the series, Suzaku is a powerful bird of flame (much like the phoenix of legend). She is fiercely protective of Tsuzuki, and on more than one occasion she acts without his direct command (even going against his wishes at on time in order to protect him).

BYAKKO

A large white tiger who attacks with what appears to be balls of energy. There's not really much more I can say about him.

TOUDA

Touda is a serpent whose flames are powerful enough to destroy even a Shinigami. Like Byakko, there isn't much to be said about him.
