KAKYOIN TAKESHI

The owner of the cruise ship The Queen Camellia, which the Shinigami are sent to investigate. He seems a rather nice man, but he got in over his head when he went to the extremes of using the black market to find a new heart for his daughter, and now is being forced to continue to use his ship as an organ-harvesting facility.

KAKYOIN TSUBAKI

Kakyoin's daughter, whom everyone calls Tsubaki-hime. She suffers from a weak heart and nearly died many times throughout her short life. She's hopelessly devoted to the doctor her father had look after her since she was a child, who is none other than Dr Muraki. Muraki only sees her as a pawn, and through her medication and hypnosis uses her to do his bidding. Tsubaki-hime has no idea about the dark purpose behind the cruise ship, but in her hypnotized state she knows everything.

Her seiyuu was Toyoshima Machiko, who was also Palla Palla in Sailormoon.

WAKABAYASHI SYOZO

A corrupt, powerful politician on the cruise, and not a very nice man. He is part of the organ dealing business, and tries to use his knowledge of what goes on on the ship to force Kakyoin to let him win in the ship's casino. He's also having an affair with Kanako.

His voice was provided by Iizuka Shozou.

HOJO KANAKO

An actress on the cruise who is the lover of Wakabayashi. She's short-tempered and only concerned with her own well being. She knows about the organ-dealing business and tries to blackmail Kakyoin.

Matsui Naoko was her voice actress. You might recognize her as Dorothy Catalonia from Gundam Wing, Toudaiji Miyako from Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne, or Shiratori Azusa from Ranma 1/2.

ABIKO TETSUHIRO

Tetsuhiro is a medical student and the heir to a pharmaceuticals company. He's young and rather naive, and fully believes that there's a female ghost haunting the ship at night. He's also one of few who has no idea about the organ dealings that are going on.

His seiyuu was Kusao Takeshi, who also has done the roles of Saionji Kyouichi in Shoujo Kakumei Utena, Parn in Record of Lodoss War, and Trunks in Dragonball Z.

AKIYAMA

The manager of the ship, not much else is really know about him.

His voice was provided by Naka Hiroshi.

IRENE

Irene was a young girl who made a living selling flowers in Hong Kong. She befriended Tsubaki, and in what seemed a stroke of good luck was allowed to go back to Japan with her. On the voyage to Japan she mysteriously disappeared; she had been allowed to accompany Tsubaki not to be her companion but because they wanted to transplant Irene's heart into Tsubaki's body. She didn't "die" however, because Muraki hypnotized Tsubaki into thinking that Irene's spirit lived on within her (so she's the "ghost" that wanders the ship at night).

Her voice was provided by Sakuma Emi.
