UPDATES April 6, 2002: There's a new top site list added to the main page that you can vote for Heavy Metal in, because Brad asked me to join. I went through the link list and removed most of the dead links (a few I'll give a week or so's grace and if there still down they'll be removed). To make up for all the links that were removed, I added a few links so some sites I've enjoyed for the longest time but never got around to linking. As well, all those names waiting to be added to the adopters list are finally up. Oh yeah, I can't forget to point out the fact that the webring page is pretty much dead now that webring's changed around again. I probably won't get around to fixing it until I finish the big revamp though, which I've schedualled for June 1st (Heavy Metal's third anniversary). March 15, 2002: I'm to lazy to add any names to the list of those who have adopted Papillons today, I might later. Expect the list to be automated sometime in the future. ^^; What I -have- updated is the fanart (with one lovely new piece). February 23, 2002: I added a gorgeous piece of fanart by Alana to the gallery, and added to the adopters and ways to kill Sailormoon as well. ^^ February 16, 2002: Wow.. A whole month without updates.. ^^;; Anyway, not much today for updates, just a few new adopters and one new way to kill Sailormoon. I'm -almost- done a really big update though, so look forward to that in the next few weeks. January 12, 2002: New names on the list of adopters and a new link to a shrine to Galaxia. Final exams are coming up, so we'll see how much updating gets done in the next week or so.. ^^;;; December 31, 2001: The last update of the year.. Where did 2001 go? o_o; I was much busier than I expected, but I'm going to try and sit down and get some serious work done on this page soon.. And you're probably all getting sick of my promises. ^^; But anyways, there's a few more names added to the list of adopters. December 8, 2001: Christmas is so close now, perhaps over Christmas break I'll be able to work on my big update for this page (which is slowly coming along, so I won't promise anything really soon). More adopters have been added to the list today, and the name section was updated as someone confirmed her english name as Sailor Heavy Metal Papillon. That's all for now! ^^ November 25, 2001: Wow, it's almost December already.. Time sure is flying by. Today's updates are a new link and more adopters. November 11, 2001: I'm still working on big updates for this site but it's progressing rather slowly. ^^;; So all there is today is the usual additions to the adopters list. November 4, 2001: Ack! October went by really fast.. Anyways, today there's just a few more adopters and a new link. Ooh!! And I must point out that Heavy Metal is currently the spotlight site at Hug A Villain. I'm quite honored, and that really made my day! ^__^ October 27, 2001: Still only small updates; today there's just a couple more people who've adopted Papillons and a few more ways to kill Sailormoon. ^^ October 20, 2001: I wanted to update last week but I was sick and just didn't really feel like it. ^^;; But anyways, not much today, just a few more adopters, another way to kill Sailormoon (I also split the list into two pages now), a few links removed, and a new link (another Papillon shrine!). I'm still thinking of some really big updates I can do to this site, but I don't know how long it's going to take me. ^^; October 6, 2001: Still only new adopters for updates.. I'm trying to think of something more substantial to do to this site but I've been really busy with school and re-painting my room. ^^; Anyways, happy Thanksgiving to all my fellow Canadians! :D September 22, 2001: Just a little update today, being more names on the adopters list. I thought about waiting until I had more stuff to add but I figured I might as well add them right away. ^^;; September 15, 2001: Another adopter and another way to kill Sailormoon. I'd like to take a moment to express my sorrow over the events of last tuesday, and give my sympathies to those affected by it. September 1, 2001: I can't believe it's September already.. I don't want to go back to school! ;_; But anyways, I've added a new link, a new name to the adopters list, and a fanfiction written by Meghan. ^__^ August 25, 2001: I went through and removed a lot of dead links, though there might still be a few in the list.. Plus it's really hard to tell whether or not sites on homestead still work because not a single homestead page has worked for me for months, and yet people still seem to be using it so it must just be my computer. o_O; Oh yes, there's also one new name on the adopters list. Time sure flies by quickly in the summer.. *sigh* Anyway, the updates for today are more adopters and more ways to kill Sailormoon. ^__^ July 28, 2001: There's a new piece of fanart added to the gallery drawn by Laurie. ^___^ As well, like every updated is seems there's more people on the list of adopters (I really should get a guestbook for that, shouldn't I? ^^;). July 22, 2001: I had meant to update yesterday, but I kinda forgot.. ^^;;; But anyways, not much today.. I added more names to the adopters list and starting cleaning out the link section a bit (some really good pages have closed down... ;_;). Hopefully I'll be able to get some bigger updates done soon, but I'm really bust working on other sites.. ^^; July 11, 2001: Well, there's a very good reason that it's been a while since I updated, and that is I've been working very hard to get my new domain up and running.. and now it is! So Heavy Metal has moved on over to persephone.nu where it's now pop-up free! :D Please change all links and bookmarks accordingly. The other updates for today are new parents added to the list of those who've adopted papillons, some new symbolism related to butterflies that was submitted by Fuu217, and the survey has been taken down (thank you so much to everyone who filled it out!). ^^ June 24, 2001: Ack! I'm so busy this week, but I found some time to update Heavy Metal. ^__^ Not much though, just a few adopters. ^^; June 16, 2001: Lots of good updates today. ^__^ We've got another wonderful piece of fanart by Lady Jade, a lovely new fan poem, another way to kill Sailormoon, some more people who adopted papillons on the list, and I joined another webring. I'd also like to take the time to thank all the people who filled out the survey so far, I'm really pleased with the response and all your suggestions will be taken into account. ^__^ June 9, 2001: Just some regular old updates today: adopters, links, and ways to kill Sailormoon. ^___^ June 1, 2001: Well here we are, at the two year mark. ^__^ Back on June 1, 1999 Heavy Metal first opened. I'm so glad to have made it this far, and the response has been so positive! *hugs for all* I thought of making a new layout, but I like the present one so much I couldn't bear to see it go. ^^;; There are other updates though.. Firstly, I gave all the pages a slight face-lift, with the fanart, name, love, and why sections getting a bit more work done than others. Secondly, I gave the info, fun, and misc pages a new layout because I really didn't like the previous one anymore. I also added two new sections, a previous layouts archive and a survey (the survey's only going to be up for a month, just to give you warning). And finally, there's a few more people on the list of adopters. ^^ I'd just like to take a minute to thank all the people who visit and contribute to this page, you've made these past two years really fun! :D |
